In the 1960s and 1970s, the three-in-one equipment for filtration, washing and drying gradually developed in response to market demand. The flat-bottomed form of the three-in-one equipment for filtration, washing and drying was the first typical product, which could achieve the purpose of a closed filtration environment and integrating multiple process procedures. However, the inherent design characteristics of the flat-bottomed three-in-one device determine some inevitable shortcomings:
(1) The filtration area is small
The entire bottom area is the filtration area. While increasing the filtration area, the diameter of the equipment must also be increased, resulting in a large floor space occupied by the equipment.
(2) Incomplete discharge
The bottom filter layer and the discharge port are at the same level. Through the simple internal stirring and scraping, some materials can be pushed out. However, the absence of a discharge level difference and the safety gap between the stirring and the bottom surface also cause residues. The materials cannot be discharged by themselves. Manual intervention in discharging will to some extent affect the purity of the materials, and the control degree of the production environment will also decrease accordingly.
(3) The heat exchange effect is not ideal
The heat exchange effect can be analyzed from two aspects: the heat exchange area and the material turnover. The flat-bottomed type filtration, washing and drying three-in-one matching stirring form is relatively simple, and the heat source of the external jacket is the main heat exchange area. The typical form of stirring and turning the material is flat pushing and driving. The contact surface of the material with the jacket is limited, and the bottom filter layer is retained to a certain extent and does not participate in the turning. The drying effect is not very ideal. If the material is slightly sticky, the effect will be greatly reduced.

In order to overcome the problems and deficiencies existing in the above-mentioned unit equipment combination, and at the same time meet the transformation of the chemical industry towards high quality, high added value, multiple varieties and small batches, Wuxi Srui has carried out a large amount of design and research and development work. Finally, it has successfully developed a multi-functional cylindrical and conical reaction filtration and drying machine integrating filtration, washing and drying, and has successfully applied for a patent (Patent No. (ZL 201721560677.6, ZL 202023247813.0, ZL 202220572661.1) It fundamentally enhances the performance characteristics of the three-in-one filtration, washing and drying:
(1) The filtration area has been significantly increased
The conical filtration area setting: For equipment of the same diameter, the conical filtration area is 2 to 2.5 times that of the flat bottom.
(2) Automatic and complete discharge
The discharge port is located at the lowest position of the equipment, automatically and completely discharging. Combined with the forward and reverse rotation of the internal stirring, generally loose materials can be discharged without residue.
(3) Excellent drying effect
In the cylindrical cone-type filtration, washing and drying three-in-one equipment, the spiral stirring is matched. The heat exchange area is 3 to 5 times that of the similar flat-bottomed three-in-one equipment. More importantly, the multi-deformation design of the spiral stirring enables materials with different characteristics to achieve the ideal three-dimensional flipping effect. The jacket heat exchange in the main body of the equipment is fully utilized, and each part of the material is fully heated.

The new type of filtration, washing and drying machine adopts a cylindrical and conical structure. Heating jackets are set on the cylindrical body and the lower conical body, which can heat or cool the materials. Inside the multi-functional machine, there are hollow shafts and variable-angle and variable-lead hollow spiral stirring devices for stirring and lifting the materials, and the materials are pushed out when discharging. A relatively complex conical filtering device is set in the lower cone. At the bottom of the equipment, there is a specially designed quick discharge device without dead corners or a pneumatic discharge ball valve without dead corners.
During the reaction stage, the reaction materials are added from the top. The unique stirring structure enables the materials to be evenly stirred inside the machine. Through the simultaneous heating or cooling of the cylinder jacket, conical jacket, hollow shaft and hollow spiral blades, the materials can be fully reacted inside the machine. During the filtration stage, this machine can make the material dry through pressure or vacuum filtration inside the machine, and add washing liquid to make the material undergo multiple automatic re-slurry washing inside the machine. After meeting the washing requirements, it can be pressed dry again. During the drying stage, the cylinder jacket, conical jacket, hollow shaft and hollow screw ribbon simultaneously heat the material and create a vacuum at the top to conduct vacuum sealed low-temperature drying of the material. After drying, the material is automatically sealed and discharged.

(1) Stirring reaction: This machine adopts a cylindrical and conical structure, allowing for constant-temperature and timed reactions of heating or cooling materials within the machine.
(2) Pressure filtration or vacuum filtration: After the reaction is completed, the filtrate is filtered through pressure filtration or vacuum suction filtration. During the filtration stage, due to the good adhesion and scraping effect between the helical ribbon and the filter medium, the material can be filtered under the condition of a thin filter cake, with high filtration efficiency.
(3) Multiple washing and filtration are possible: After the material is filtered and dried, washing liquid can be added and it can undergo multiple automatic reactions and mixes with the material inside the machine before washing. After the washing and filtration meet the washing requirements, it can be filtered and dried again.
(4) Vacuum drying and discharging: After the material is filtered and dried, it is heated simultaneously in the jacket of the drying section cylinder, the hollow shaft and the screw ribbon. A vacuum is then applied at the top for vacuum low-temperature sealed drying of the material. The dried material is automatically sealed and discharged.
