The low-temperature vacuum single-cone dryer developed by Wuxi Srui by drawing on German technology is widely used in the drying of organic solvent-containing materials in the pesticide industry. With the continuous recognition of its advantages and the continuous improvement of the process flow, it can meet the requirements of drying wet powder, filter cake, paste and slurry and other materials, especially suitable for products with high specific gravity, viscosity, high sensitivity or containing toxic or explosive solvents.

The vacuum single cone dryer is equipped with a heating cone and a heating jacket. The heat source is hot water, heat transfer oil or low-pressure steam, which keeps the inner wall of the cone at a certain temperature. The variable frequency speed control motor drives the single-helical ribbon agitator to rotate through the parallel helical gear reducer, causing the material to rotate along the conical cylinder and be lifted from bottom to top. After reaching the highest point, the material automatically flows to the center of the vortex and returns to the bottom of the conical cylinder due to the effect of gravity and inertia. The entire process forces the material to be heated inside the conical cylinder, with relative convection and mixing. The heat diffuses among the materials. Make the material move in an irregular reciprocating motion in all directions to complete the high-frequency heat transfer exchange between the material and the single-screw ribbon and the surface of the cylinder wall, achieving the heating and drying effect in a short time. This enables the moisture inside the material to continuously evaporate. Under the action of the vacuum pump, the water vapor is drawn out by the vacuum pump. If it is necessary to recover the liquid, a condenser or a recovery liquid storage tank can be added for recovery. After the drying is completed, open the discharge valve at the bottom to discharge the material.

Structural features and functions of the small single-cone vacuum dryer equipment

(1) The equipment adopts jacket and helical ribbon internal heating, increasing the overall heating area of the equipment by approximately 40%.

(2) The single-screw ribbon agitator adopted by the equipment is a new type of device developed by our company. It can achieve the effect of bottom-up circulation stirring and obtain highly efficient forced heat transfer performance. When the material filling rate is between 40% and 100%, 100% heating utilization can be achieved. Suitable for the mixing and drying of fine materials.

(3) The fully sealed system, free from foreign contamination and with high cleanliness, is particularly suitable for the mixing and drying of pharmaceutical intermediates and active pharmaceutical ingredients, and can also be used for the mixing and drying of sterile active pharmaceutical ingredients.

(4) The gap between the single-screw ribbon agitator and the container wall is small, which can effectively prevent the material from adhering to the surface of the container wall.

(5) The adoption of a small-angle conical cylinder structure ensures fast, clean unloading and no material accumulation.

During the drying process of materials, the dust raised due to the drying of materials adheres to the vacuum collector, blocking the vacuum channel. The blockage of the gas channel directly leads to the extension of the drying time. The lower the temperature and the shorter the drying time of the material during the drying process, the less the quality of the material will be affected. In response to the above reasons, the single-cone dryer developed by our company is equipped with a nitrogen back-blowing dust cleaning device on the vacuum collector, which can keep the vacuum channel unobstructed during the material drying process, thereby ensuring the drying time and quality.

(7) The bottom discharge valve is a suction plate valve, which ensures reliable sealing and is conducive to vacuum drying.

(8) The equipment has a compact structure, operates smoothly, has good sealing, no lubrication leakage, is easy to operate and has a long service life.

The main structure of the small single-cone vacuum dryer

This machine is composed of components such as a motor, a reducer, a frame, mechanical seals, a metal sintered mesh filter, a hollow twin-screw ribbon agitator, a conical cylinder with jacketed heating, and a discharge valve.

(1) Transmission and sealing section: Composed of an electric motor, a reducer, a frame and a mechanical seal.

① Motor: A variable frequency speed regulation motor is adopted, and the speed can be adjusted as needed during operation.

② Reducer: FAF series helical gear reducer, featuring smooth and reliable operation, low noise and long service life.

③ Frame: Self-designed, with high manufacturing precision. It is equipped with two pairs of roller bearings inside, which can adjust the height of the agitator and the radial swing.

④ Mechanical seal: Single-end face sanitary type with material receiving and flushing cavity, with good sealing performance.

(2) Agitator: The hollow agitator shaft is respectively connected to the hollow helical ribbon with support rods. The upper and lower ends connected to the hollow helical ribbon form a circuit through which the heat medium can pass with hollow support rods. To ensure that the material does not adhere to the cylinder wall, the gap between the screw ribbon and the cylinder wall is very small.

(3) Tank body: This part is composed of the upper end head, conical cylinder body, vacuum filter, discharge valve, etc.

① Upper head: Bears the transmission part and the agitator; The inner surface pipe openings all have arc transitions. All materials in contact with the materials are 316L. The process pipe openings are as follows: DN400 sanitary manhole, pressure gauge, explosion-proof sight light, sight glass opening, feed opening, cleaning opening, vacuum opening, etc.

② Lower cone with heating jacket: The inner surface is smooth and free of dead corners, which enables the material to be fully dried. When discharging, with the help of the rotation of the stirrer, the discharge is rapid and clean.

③ Filter: Metal sintered mesh is adopted, featuring high filtration accuracy and large filtration area. And an exhaust port is set at the vacuum outlet to regenerate the filter by back-blowing compressed air during exhaust.

④ Discharge valve: A suction plate valve is adopted, which features a fast discharge speed, convenient operation, and no residue or dead corners during discharge.



Technical parameters of the small single-cone vacuum dryer equipment

(1) Main unit capacity: 100L; Loading volume: approximately 60L to 70L;

(2) Loading coefficient: ≤70% volumetric volume (material specific gravity is calculated at 0.4 to 0.45);

(3) Working pressure inside the tank: -0.09Mpa to -0.1 Mpa;

(4) Interlayer working pressure: 0.25Mpa to 0.3Mpa;

(5) Motor power: 2.2kW (The motor is variable frequency speed regulation).

(6) Main unit speed: 10 to 30rpm. The speed of the spiral stirring can be adjusted by frequency conversion according to the product characteristics.

(7) Jacket heating method: Hot water heating, jacket temperature: ≤60℃.

(8) Inner cylinder: Made of 316L stainless steel, with polished inner walls.

(9) The stirring shaft is made of thick-walled stainless steel 316L tubes, and the support rods are made of thick-walled stainless steel 316L tubes with a diameter of Φ25mm. The helical ribbon blades are made of 8mm stainless steel 316L plates. The internal pipes can be heated by heat transfer oil or low-pressure steam to evenly transfer heat to the surface of the shaft and blades, greatly increasing the heat transfer area.

(10) The main unit's inlet adopts a quick-opening cover, which is not only simple and convenient but also ensures a good vacuum sealing effect. The feeding port of the main unit adopts a ball valve type. The feeding port is a DN100 clamp quick-connection type with a valve. The vent valve is placed at the top cover position and is vented by a ball valve. The discharge port adopts a suction plate valve, which features a fast discharge speed, convenient operation and no residue in the discharged materials.

(11) The sealing of the main unit adopts a single-end face mechanical seal, which can ensure a high vacuum degree of the main unit and increase the drying speed.

(12) The main unit adopts SLFA series helical gear reducers, which operate smoothly and reliably, have low noise and a long service life.

(13) A field thermometer is installed on the cone, allowing for the observation and adjustment of temperature at any time.

(14) Vacuuming inside the cylinder: above -0.09Mpa.

(15) The parts in contact with materials of the equipment are made of 316L, and the outer wall is made of 304 stainless steel.

(16) The power supply is 380V, three-phase five-wire, 50Hz.
