Calcium lactate is an important drug for children's health care and the prevention and treatment of infertility. The general production method involves cooling and crystallizing a 65% calcium lactate solution, followed by double-cone vacuum drying, and then crushing and packaging it. The main drawback of this method is that the processing flow is long, the operation is complicated, and the bacterial content of the finished product often exceeds the prescribed index. Double-cone vacuum drying not only involves high labor intensity and low thermal efficiency, but also causes local overheating of the material, resulting in the loss of crystalline water in the finished product and making it difficult to meet the process requirements for calcium lactate pentahydrate. This method is not only inefficient, time-consuming and labor-intensive, but also has a low yield. The product has uneven particle size distribution, a yellowish color and an unpleasant odor.

The working principle of calcium lactate vacuum single cone dryer

Calcium lactate single cone dryer is a highly efficient, multi-functional, fully enclosed vertical vacuum drying equipment integrating vacuum distillation, crushing, powder mixing and drying. Its drying efficiency is 3 to 5 times that of double cone rotary vacuum dryers and vacuum ovens of the same specification. It is mainly used for powder drying in the pharmaceutical, chemical, pesticide, food and other industries, and can achieve continuous operation throughout the process in a closed manner.

The fully automatic single cone dryer is driven by an explosion-proof motor through a parallel helical gear reducer to rotate the single helical ribbon agitator, causing the material to rotate along the conical cylinder and be lifted from bottom to top. After reaching the highest point, the material automatically flows to the center of the vortex and returns to the bottom of the conical cylinder due to the effect of gravity and inertia. The entire process forces the material to be heated inside the conical cylinder, with relative convection and mixing. Heat diffuses among the materials, causing them to move irregularly back and forth. This enables high-frequency heat exchange between the materials and the single-screw ribbon and the surface of the cylinder wall, achieving the effect of heating and drying in a short period of time.

Analysis of the Advantages of Calcium Lactate Vacuum Single Cone Dryer

(4) Top drive avoids the possibility of shaft seal and product contamination, ensuring that particles from the external environment do not enter the conical drying mixer.

(5) Without opening the process material bin, the CIP and SIP functions of the equipment can be directly utilized to conveniently carry out necessary cleaning of the equipment.
